Please note that I will not send you a copy if you only offline me, or comment on this post asking for a copy. The reason is so that I can make a mailing list for future use in sending my works around on a greater scale.

I finished the first draft of my novelette "The Pessimist". There are few things in life that could leave me more pleased.

Editing will begin on the 26th and hopefully be finished sometime in early January. Just in time to begin the new year. If any of ya'll are interested in it, place your order by writing to: beauchamp.andre@yahoo.com

Since near the end of last year--late October I think it was--I've been writing a set of poetry on writers/writing. Its been showing a lot of potential and I've been working on them on and off as a side project to my novel. Posting one up on the poetry section... number 4 I think it is. The Novel is going full steam, I'm hoping to have a first draft out before the years end. I might have the first edit done by then, but I'm not promising anything.

Its been a lil while since I've posted up any more poetry. To be honest, I haven't written that much verse because of my drive to complete the novelette I've been working on. However, I did put up a new piece entitled, "The Writers Bewilderment" which is the sister piece of "Journeys of the Writer."

The last post of poetry was not all that pretty, and for that I apologize. One of my resolutions this year is to get back to my original state in poetry and, admittedly, it has been a learning process. However, I have two more to show you...and one is even in that wonderful quatrain/couplet 8/6 scheme that I've grown so found for my fixed form these days. Their titled: "Befuddlement!—my Muse" and, "Epiphany of the Creative Morgue."

I pout a new poem on the Poetry seciton called, "Words to Love on Her Apparent Nature." Trying to get back into my groove with poetry but my novel is coming by quite nicely. But check it out sometime, I'll post more when more is finished.

Sorry for the lack of posting. Christmas season always seems to kill what little inspiration that I have for writing anything. Plus it also gives a lack of time, which isn't too great now is it?

However, I do got a few new things for you to steal a peak at. One is in the Prose section called "She Speaks." In case your wondering, its abstract surrealism, but in prose form. The second is a new poem (I think it'll be the last of this year)titled "Reflections While Waiting in the Snow."

Hope you enjoy them, I'll try to post more regularly on the coming year. Make it a resoution, yes?

I have posted another piece for your pleasure. Its called A Dream, Bizarre and it's in the Prosiac Works. Originally it stemmed from another work "Nights of the Father" but, upon inspection a month or so ago, I changed it up a bit and now you have the finished work.

Its another surrealistic piece, influenced to an extent by Rimbaud's lecture on the visionary, and the failed move of Dadaism of the early 1900's. Hope you enjoy it.

Sorry that I haven't been updating for awhile. I've been really busy since the middle of May and I've had little time to write anything that substantial. However, I just wanted to let you know that updates will be coming soon. I'm working on a new piece of surrealism called "Nights of the Father" and, to keep you satisfied until then, I put up a few new pieces of poetry and another logical argument in the prosiac section for your reading pleasure.

Dreams of the Weaver

For those of you that are interested, my first completed piece of surrealism is finished. Its called "Dreams of the Weaver" and its not at all bad either, if I do say so myself. You can find it in the prosiac section of my works. A tad bit long, but worth it if you get the time.
